When we watch successful people on TV, we are amazed by their accomplishments. They make things look so easy and natural. Shooting consistently from the three-point range, successfully starting a business, and singing like an angel. They make it look so easy. Yet, we don’t see the failures and the hard-core practice they endure. If we want to succeed like them, we should emulate their disciple and persistence. What about you? They say that as we grow older, we become wiser. We learn from life’s experiences and apply the lesson to become better human beings. Not everyone grows wiser. Some of us just grow older. How about you? Are you growing wiser?

Do you have complete control of what happens to you? Can you control the people and events around you? I’m sure you cannot. However, you have full control of how you will respond to life. So take control of what you can control. Don’t worry about the rest since you cannot do anything about it. How about you? Do you control what you can?

The world around us moves forward. Life goes on. Ready or not, life moves on. Life will leave you behind if you stop. How about you? Are you moving forward, or are you left behind?

The wolf you feed inside you grows. If you feed the fear inside you, then your fear grows. If you feed your courage, then your courage grows. If you feed pessimism or optimism, then that’s the one that grows. How about you? Which wolf do you feed?

Life will be more joyful if we keep it simple. Instead, we keep insisting that things are gray. We insist that it’s different shades of gray. It’s all an excuse we use to justify our actions and decisions. Life is black or white. It’s right or wrong. There is no gray. How about you? Do you thread in the gray area?

Sometimes events freeze us in our tracks. We get shell-shocked by an event. However, we need to get our bearings back and move on. Only when we keep moving can we progress in life. How about you? Do you move on?

Everyone has made several mistakes in their life. But, unfortunately, a significant percentage repeated the same mistake. Repeating the same mistake is no longer a mistake. It’s a choice. Stop claiming it’s a mistake and own up to it. How about you? Is it a mistake of a choice?

Many people drift through life. They are like sailboats with no rudder. Others have an engine and compass. They are intentional in their journey. How about you? Are you a sailboat or a speedboatboat?

Not everyone matures as they grow older. Some just grow old. Others gets wiser with age. They are able to process and learn from life as they journey through it. How about you? How are you aging?
