Not everyone matures as they grow older. Some just grow old. Others gets wiser with age. They are able to process and learn from life as they journey through it. How about you? How are you aging?

We all have a natural fear of the unknown. We prefer to stay in our comfort zone. However, growth only happens outside our comfort zone. How about you? Do you bravely step out of your comfort zone?

Sadly, some of us quit when we are so close to success. Even worse, some quit even before trying. Like they say quitters never win. How about you? Do you persist or do you quit at the first sign of difficulty?

In our darkest moments, we have two choices. First, focus on the darkness. Second, find and focus on a glimmer of light. Our choice determines our outcome. How about you? Where do you focus?

When working on your tasks, consider two questions. First, is this the best use of my time at this moment? Second, is this task bringing me closer to my goals? How about you? Do you focus on tasks that bring you closer to your goals?

Have you ever come across a big talker? Someone who brags that he will do this or that. Someone who talks more than he executes. It’s all talk unless it’s put into action. How about you? Do you execute more than you talk?

The problem with happiness is that we link it to something. The challenge is not to get attached to the things around us like our car, home, career, savings, and so on. When that something is gone, then we are unhappy. So don’t anchor your happiness to external material things. Then you will find the true meaning of joy.

One thing that separates us from animals is that we can decide how we react. You will get bitten if you step on a sleeping dog’s tail. When someone tries to get you upset, you have the choice to get upset or stay calm. Get better at choosing what emotion to bring out. Your life will be more peaceful. How about you? Does your emotion rule over your life?

Living a life of integrity and honor is not easy. You look around and might see fraudulent people getting ahead of you. But, just because some people take the wrong path does not mean we should. Keep on the right track, and you will live a peaceful life. How about you? Will you stay on the right track?
