There’s a lot of talk these days about strategy. Many people seem to think that it’s some sort of magical, elusive formula that will help them achieve success. But the truth is, strategy is nothing more than an argument about how you will succeed.
At its heart, strategy is all about choice. You have to choose what you want to achieve, and then choose the actions you need to take to get there. And you have to be willing to make your case convincingly, to yourself and others.
So don’t be afraid to get strategic about your success. Develop a clear vision, and then craft a plan that will get you there. The better your argument, the more likely you are to succeed.
